Ways to Support a Chabad Center
Match volunteering, participation and donations to the center’s actual priorities.
Support can mean consistent participation, a needed skill, practical volunteering or financial help. Ask the center what would make a difference before offering a program it cannot maintain. Reliable small commitments can be more helpful than an ambitious promise that is not kept.
For donations, confirm the recipient, purpose and local arrangements directly. Do not assume contributions to one center automatically fund every center worldwide. When volunteering with children or vulnerable people, follow the institution’s safeguarding and supervision requirements.
A place to begin
- Ask for a current list of needs.
- Agree a realistic role, schedule and responsible contact.
- Confirm donation details and safeguarding expectations directly.
